Ministries

Covenant Care Ministry

Providing the intentional and purposeful response to the needs of our Covenant Partners. Covenant Care promotes the wholeness of sprirt, soul, and body. We refuse to say be clothed and fed, and not help ensure the necessary provisions.

Evangelistic Team

Seeks lost souls and openly shares the Word of God. Utilizing evangelistic tools and opportunities afforded to us, we plan community outreach events such as Praise-N-Park and the Isaiah 61 Project. The ministry teams go out into select community areas on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 10am to 1pm. In-house training takes place during the winter months.

HELPs

To maintain the dwelling place and offer assistance through service to WACI’s Covenant Partners and guests as we understand that “unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain”.  (Psalm 127)

Intercessory Prayer

Intercessory prayer is the act of praying on behalf of others. The Intercessor must possess a committed lifestyle of prayer and fasting. Intercessory prayer occurs during every service at WACI and all FGBCF events.

 

Missions Outreach

Partnering with various community and international organizations to provide opportunities to meet the needs of people within our community and around the world. Quarterly, we minister at the Manassas Rehabilitation Facility and bi-monthly at the SERVE facility in offering bible study and worship services.   (View Now)

Not Easily Broken Marriage Ministry

To educate couples about God’s plan for marriages with emphasis on loving and respecting their mates. 

Encourage growth in communicating with each other and spiritually with God.  Provide problem solving and skill building tools that motivate couples to invest in their marriages.

Singles Ministries

S.O.F.C. Ministry is for adults of all ages. The singles ministry hosts events and scheduled activities to bring Christian singles together for social interaction, group community service as well as spiritual growth. The ministry is designed to foster an atmosphere of mutual learning, as we encourage, and motivate members to enjoy a disciplined lifestyle as singles in the body of Christ. The Singles ministry meets quarterly.

The Men of Valor Men's Ministry

The Men of Valor Men’s Ministry is about equipping men with the message of the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 4:17); so that we can walk and operate in the power of the Holy Spirit; as we surrender ourselves to His leadership and guidance (John 14:17, 26). As the men of Issachar (1 Chronicles 12:32 ) knew what Israel needed to do; we also, through prayer, the word of God, and leading of the Holy Spirit, will know what our families need to do to impact the earth and the world (territory and systems) for the Kingdom of Heaven.

Women's Ministry

As Women Armed and Ready (W.A.R.), “We declare”… all that God has ordained us to be within our worship experience with Him, our families and our careers. The Women’s Ministry provides spiritual enrichment for the mind, body and spirit through fellowship; supports various outreach opportunities within the community and internationally. All women are welcome to participate in the monthly fellowships and annual Women’s Empowerment weekend.

 

Young Adult Ministry

Word Alive Church International’s Young Adult Ministry embraces men and women, between the ages of 18-35, encouraging and equipping them by promoting moral and spiritual structure through Christian education and social outreach.

Youth Ministry

Train up a child in the way they should go! This ministry uses the word of God to provide support and guidance to youth in the body of Christ.

Training

Christian Education Teacher Training

Christian education is important. This ministry works to train and develop christian education teachers on the fundamentals of adult instruction.

Christian Discipleship Training (CDT)

Familiarize each Covenant Partner with the biblical foundation for essential Christian doctrines. Covenant Partners are expected to attend, participate and complete the 8-week session.  Upon completion of CDT, each Covenant Partner will receive a certificate to participate in works of service in any ministry
at WACI.

Sunday School

Provides a strong foundation in Christian education by exposing youth and adults to the importance of God’s word.  With the exception of 1st Sunday, Sunday School is held every Sunday from 9:15am to 10:15am.
